Theo Langendam (1949) Dutch painter. Works alternately in France (Morvan) and The Netherlands. Worked from 1969 till 1995 as a photographer and his art of painting runs through it like a continuous. Initially he worked in an impressionistic style. After that , his work has more expressionistic and abstract signs. With his landscapes, still lives and compositions he wants to create a sort of surprise. "In a painting you want to see something else than what you see in reality" An image of a departed time or a future world. An image language through which the objects are only a memory of themselves and getting a new meaning.
